About Me

My name is John McGuinness, but I usually go by Jack. I’m a senior Journalism and Digital Content major at Susquehanna University graduating in the Spring of 2024. I’ve worked at 88.9 WQSU (my university’s on-campus radio station) as an On-Air DJ and a Promotions Team Member for the past three years. I’m also involved with the Jewish Life program on campus as one of their board members where I help plan events, fundraisers, and help with the Shabbat service every Friday.

After I finish university, I plan on working in social media or content creation as I am very passionate about both of those. I would love to be a social media manager for a media-based company somewhere in New Zealand because I hope to move there for work after graduation. Currently, I am a server at Longhorn steak house and I work there part-time alongside full-time at university.

I’m passionate about music, photography, movies, spirituality, plants, and fashion. I spend a lot of my free-time sewing and learning to embroider. Also, I recently started getting into cooking and teaching myself new recipes. Some of my favorite thing’s i’ve made so far are: Jajong Noodles, oven-roasted tomatoes, and different kinds of bread.
